22 December - Mc Elroy Becomes Biggest U.S. Partner for Kilgray of Hungary
McElroy Translation, a full-service language service provider known for 40 years of service and innovation, has penned the biggest U.S. licensing and partnership deal with Kilgray Translation Technologies, provider of the highly regarded MemoQ translation server, the first fully integrated translation environment.
Austin, TX (PRWEB) December 20, 2008 -- McElroy Translation, a full-service language service provider known for 40 years of service and innovation, has penned the biggest U.S. licensing and partnership deal with Kilgray Translation Technologies, provider of the highly regarded MemoQ translation server, the first fully integrated translation environment.
McElroy chose MemoQ for its ability to integrate with McElroy's workflow and project management systems, as well as The McElroy Hub, a major vendor management system that acts as a portal for translators. MemoQ was also chosen for its ease-of-use and its adaptability to future technology initiatives at McElroy.
"Kilgray's MemoQ translation management software is considered a best-of-breed system by analysts in the industry," said Shelly Priebe, President of McElroy. "Integrated workflow is critical for success, and with MemoQ, McElroy will have a fully integrated solution, bringing CMS, TMS, project management and sales together."
With more than 100 server installations worldwide, MemoQ is fast becoming a leader in the translation management industry partly because of its ability to integrate smoothly with any type of workflow and project management solutions. The McElroy agreement includes the largest number of licenses for MemoQ in the United States.
"MemoQ has become the tool of choice for LSPs that want to succeed because it leaves them in control and doesn't attempt to automate everything in a uniform way," said István Lengyel, Chief Operating Officer of Kilgray. "We see McElroy as a highly innovative company that combines the best technologies in all fields of translation to enhance its service offering, and we are very happy that they chose MemoQ as the preferred collaboration environment for human translations."
The deal rounds up a successful year of technology partnerships for McElroy. In an effort to build an integrated platform that serves customers, vendors and employees equally, McElroy began the year searching for the best technologies that could work together. Earlier in the year, the company announced a major partnership with Asia Online, experts in automated translation technology, designed to lead the industry in machine/human translation technologies. McElroy has also partnered with Clay Tablet to ensure integration with content management systems, and is working with Force.com.
Kilgray and McElroy will begin the installation in early 2009. In the spring, McElroy executives will attend Kilgray's first user conference and hope to share knowledge from the installation at that time.
