Joining TILP
The Institute of Localisation Professionals (TILP) has the primary aim to develop professional practices in localisation globally. TILP is a non-profit organisation, owned by its members and lead by a Council elected at its Annual General Meeting.

31 March 2005 - Important notice about credit card payments
Some people are receiving an error message containing 'Invalid MOP' or similar. To overcome this problem, please change the payment currency to US DOLLARS at the top of the credit card payments screen. For problems with TILP online payments, please email info@electonline.org. For inquiries about TILP, please email info@tilponline.org.

How to join - important!
To join as an Associate TILP member or Student TILP member, just follow these steps:
1.  Read the privacy policy and the refunds policy.
2.  Click which type of TILP membership you want.
3.  Fill in your credit card details. Click the button labeled 'Click here to Notify Localisation Research Centre.
4.  Fill in your contact details, or supply your ELECT Online username and password.

You will be immediately added to the roster of members of TILP.

Please note that fee payment applies to the end of the current calendar year, NOT one year from the date of payment.

There are three types of membership available:

1.  Associate TILP Membership - 75 EUR annual fee*
Anybody with an interest in localisation can apply to become an associated member of TILP.
Note: After you pay, you will be asked for your personal details.

2.  Student TILP Membership - 65 EUR annual fee*
Anybody studying localisation (or localisation-related subjects) can apply to become a student member of TILP.

2.  Professional TILP Membership - following approval, 250 EUR annual fee*
Localisation professionals can apply to become professional members of TILP. Entry is based on the successful completion of the TILP certification programme or TILP may grant entry on the basis of suitable education and industry experience.
